SCULPTURE
My sculptural works conjoin human anatomy with insect and plant life to create composite forms that pose frozen in suspended animation. Each individual component is selected because it possesses an attribute that the other counterparts lack. The idea is to create a symbiotic system or creature that is not only defined and understood through its diverse membership, but also enriched by it.
